Not only is Patrick a great video game news man, he also gave a TED X talk about Internet discourse, which makes for the perfect context to discuss Flappy Bird.

Christian brings up the acquisition of game developer Double Helix by Amazon, and what that might mean for a potential upcoming Amazon home console. Jeff is more interested in the recently concluded DICE conference, its Awards, and one DICE talk in particular, focusing on the value of virtual goods in EVE: Online. That leads the guys into discussing Peter Molyneaux's indictment of the new free-to-play version of his own game, Dungeon Keeper, and the news that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros will only be 2 hours long.
